Tundra Topics

 

Tundra Topics was a newsletter to keep New Games Trainers in touch with each other and the office staff. It began shorlty after a retreat in Estes Park, Colorado, in the summer of 1979. Who knew an afternoon hike on the Rocky-Mountain tundra could inspire such a legacy?

 

The two books, The New Games Book and More New Games along with The New Games Newsletter provide excellent documentation about the philosophy and history of New Games., Tundra Topics is a in-depth look of the day-to-day spirit the main players involved in New Games from 1979 until its shuttering. In particular, Tundra Topics shows how people tried to incorporate the idea of games and play into the work.
